I am the single dad, only parent of two boys nine and three. They essentially lost their mother about five, almost six months ago. This has led David, my three year old to decide that I am momma, as well as being papa. About a week before Christmas he decided that he really wanted a baby doll, so he could be a momma, just like papa. It is only through Amazon that I was able to find a boy baby doll and knowing he wanted to sleep with it, I was pleased to find this little guy. The price didn't hurt either.
After he opened his baby doll package, he was pretty well uninterested in the rest of his presents. Within minutes, my sweet David had named his baby doll, "baby David" and explained that he was no longer my baby David, he was now my tiny David.
While I daresay it will be a while before David can manage a solid momma, he really loves his baby David.

My son is 21 months and he loved dolls so I wanted to get him a boy baby. He loves this baby! He sleeps with it and carries it around and hugs and kisses it. He is able to find the baby's body parts. It is a great baby for a little boy. I looked for days for a baby doll for my 2 1/2 year old son who is going to be a big brother in a few months and was discouraged by all the plastic and little pink frilly girl baby dolls. We received "Rosy Cheeks Blonde Boy" today and my son really liked him from the first moment and is now cuddled up with him in bed for the night. Got this as a surprise for our daughter who is 6 when her baby brother was born. I brought it in my bag to the hospital without her knowing we had it and her Daddya nd I gave it to her when she came to meet her brother for the first time. Worked out great as she really didn't want to leave her real brother at the hospital so we were able to say that she had her pretend brother to play with until she saw her real brother the next day. My parents said she played w/ her prentend brother all night and we added his name and b=day to the bracelet. She still sleeps w/ it! Good buy! Nice doll! This is a cute little doll, that is soft enough for sleeping. It is durable, as it has been washed several times and still looks new. The diaper is ok though very thin and therefore, hard for little hands to work. I recommend buying a doll diaper from Rumparooz if you want a more durable one.My only criticism is that the "boy" doll does not have "boy parts". I know that this was not in the description but it would be nice if my son had a doll that looked like him, through and through.
