My daughter has the Loving Family Grand Dollhouse (not the Twin one) and LOVES it. We have a garden at home and I like the idea of her playing "garden", however this set is really lacking and could be so much better. The shelf baskets don't fit anywhere on the Grand Dollhouse. A previous reviewer stated that they fit on the Twin house why don't they fit on the Grand??? The only place you can hang them is on the actual garden structure, which can only hold one shelf basket at a time. The set includes two shelf baskets (and one hanging basket) so the 2nd shelf basket is always just laying around completely useless. The garden only "grows" flowers from an educational standpoint, it would be nice if it offered something like a bunch of carrots, lettuce or something food related. The hose drives me crazy b/c it never stays rolled up. Of all the pieces in this set, my daughter uses the watering can the most. I would not recommend this set . . . there are so many cuter ones available!

I actually think this set is pretty cute. The hanging baskets will hang on the front of the loving family twin time house. The flowers all come out of the baskets and hanging baskets so you can rearrange them. It has a small shovel for "planting" the flowers in the dirt. This is my favorite part. When you finish planting them (wearing the cute apron which fits the adult dolls), you can water them with either the hose or the watering can.

It also looks adorable on the small patio off of the parents' room with french doors in the twin time house. Very cute touch! I think it is a great way to introduce small children to gardening.

Best Deals for Loving Family Garden Fun

Basically my daughter got the Loving Family kitchen set for her birthday that she already owned, so I took that set back to Toys R Us to exchange for some other LF set. Their selection was abysmal (right after Christmas) and I didn't want to go home without a LF set to give her so I took this set (along with the African American mom and baby, which was a good buy).

This set is just kind of ... not that interesting. It might be more interesting if they included a real rabbit instead of painted on ones (the cats and dog are some of the favorite pieces of the LF dollhouse). The hose keeps on coming unrolled, and the kids don't find the flowers that interesting. They do like the apron though. The apron fits well onto the mom or grandma.

I can see why this was the only set left in the store!

My granddaughter starting on August 23, 2013 will have her third birthday. Papa and grandma are starting this very cute Doll House from Fisher Price. We are hoping to find all the different items that go with the dollhouse. I am sure with Amazon we will have no problem. Thanks again.
