I'm glad I got this when it was on a super sale just before Christmas because I don't think that this doll is as fun as princess dolls where you can completely remove the dress. The concept is neat, but limited.
This doll DEFINITELY has my favorite face mold for Tiana (which is the main reason I got it), and she's just beautiful in either dress setting. The dresses themselves are pretty full since one dress essentially folds inside the other.
The doll is designed such that her green bodice is really part of her chest mold so it cannot be removed, (which I actually don't mind; there is the same concept on the bath-time princess dolls, and the molded swimsuit generally never shows under other clothes) BUT the double-sided dress is permanently attached at her waist. This is GREAT if you tend to lose clothes, but I actually find this doll harder to change dresses for than regular dolls, AND this means you can't fit Tiana into her restaurant outfit, or any custom outfits that you choose to make for her. I don't really like the other face molds of the 'sparkling princess line' by Disney or Mattel, and I got this Tiana specifically because her expression was (in my opinion) less vapid than other similarly priced Tiana dolls (the limited edition dolls are gorgeous, but I would never get one for my daughter's play), and it's disappointing that they don't use this mold for other Tiana dolls whose clothes can be completely removed.

This doll is great! Her face is beautiful, and actually looks like Tiana from the film (others I have seen did not!) My only problem is that her dress is attached to her waist, which kinda stinks if you want to put her in different outfits. Also, her feet are not quite the same size as Barbie's, so swapping shoes doesn't work very well as they don't fit her.
