I just wanted to share my thoughts on this doll and tell you that if you had any doubts about the doll because of the price, please don't. You wont be sorry. I purchased two of these for my daughters' birthday. Now that my third daughter is turning 4 she wanted one too. I was surprised to see how much they had gone up in price. Just last year I bought the blonde one on amazon for $32 and the brunette was even cheaper at just $28!! (Two years ago, also on amazon) I guess they've become very popular and hard to find so the price has gone up the last two years. I will by the doll for the third time, even though the price is a little high. She is a very pretty doll and she has a sweet vanilla scent. Not overpowing at all. With 7 kids I just don't spend this kind of money unless I feel that the it's totally worth it. Just one more note. The hair on this doll is even better than American Girl dolls! Hard to believe I know, but totally true. We have a few A.G. and have paid an arm and a leg sending them to the "doll Hospital" for a new head because their hair was just so tangled and knotty. These dolls can really stand up to countless hairstyles,all sorts of hair clips and many bubble baths. I guess you could say we're really big fans!!

I purchased this dolly for my 3yr old daughter after she asked Santa for a ballerina doll. She is sooooo pretty! A delicate face with eyes that open and close, a gorgeous ballerina costume that sparkles and a delicate aroma of vanilla makes this doll wonderful. My daughter LOVES her! This doll's face is beautiful. The eyes are sparkly blue and the hair is my favorite part, very long and glossy. The ballerina outfit is precious, I love the longer skirt, pointe shoes & headband. We purchased this doll for our 3 1/2 year old daughter and it's perfect for her. It's not too small (like Barbie) and not too big. The doll is plastic, but soft, and she's very pretty. Her hair is soft and easy for my daughter to brush. We bought Les Corolle 13" clothing for her, and they fit great. The doll's headband is stitched onto her head, which I like because you can't lose it. This is a great doll for preschool-aged girls. I got Chloe for my 6 year old daughter, she is beautiful, smells great, and her hair looks great after several months of play. Her hair de-tangles so easily, half the time we just run our fingers through it really quick and she looks like new! When I was little I always wanted an American Girl Doll. I thought about getting her one, but I am trying to teach my children that we should use our money to help others, people in need, and buying a hundred dollar doll just didn't fit in with that message. I read the reviews for Chloe so we got her and we were not disappointed! One of the things I like about AGDolls is all the outfits, Corolle's outfits for Chloe are expensive, but you can get cute clothes for her on Etsy and Ebay for $6-12 dollars. Sometimes they only have one or two on Etsy, but if you check back other times they have tons. Right now they are sold out for Christmas. Just search for Corolle Les Cheries doll clothes on those sites. I have a 2 year old daughter as well who I will definitely get a Les Cheries doll for when she is older.
