I bought this for my 3 yr old daughter because she wanted a Barbie dollhouse for Christmas. The actual Barbie dollhouses were ridiculously high-priced and they took up way too much floor space. This one works great. Barbies are a bit too big for the tub, bed, and the front door but the shower fits them well and she doesn¡¦t mind her dolls having to duck under the doorway nor hang off the bed (the bed isn¡¦t attached and it would be quite easy to make a larger Barbie bed out of a shoe box). You can¡¦t see it in the picture but the house folds out into 3 rooms, a bathroom on the left, a central living/dinning/kitchen and a bedroom on the right. It¡¦s simple to use and to close up and store (the furniture needs to be stored in a separate bin/box). My 3 yr old can¡¦t open it on her own and the dividing walls used to come off fairly easily until we decided to make them permanent with a little hot glue. My daughter loved this doll house, the only thing is that there isn't a lot of furniture, only the bed and the tub, all other furnitures are simulated or have to be bought separately. The drawers of the kitchen do not open, but the shower in the bathroom is so well done, my daughter loved it!!...it is worth the money because most of all, it can be put away very easily because it folds like a small suitcase and doesn't take a lot of space... That's great!, isn't???
