I bought this for my grand daughter who has two American Girl dolls, she picked this out online and it looked like we were going to get 'something' for over $43 in cost and shipping... package arrived, it would have fit in a large envelope! Its totally crap, it probably cost all of $2 to make/put together and I cannot believe what I just paid for this. Totally bogus, NEVER again be fooled, I know American Girl stuff is expensive/pricey even considering what you get, but this was sooooo not worth it, don't WASTE your money on this one, just go to the dollar store and you will be fine putting some stuff together.

Cute set but way overpriced on here. Go to the AG website and order it from there. Save yourself some money.

The surprise was how overpriced these few trinkets are. I would estimate there is no more than $5 worth of small parts in this little box. The trinkets look a lot like the small parts from old toys we just threw out. It is a real rip-off for $47. I guess the American Girl mania allows price gouging. Can I give it 0 stars?

This product takes "overpriced junk" to a whole new level. I cannot believe how cheesy this stuff is. I echo the other reviews...not worth even $5, certainly not the $26 that it costs on American Girl online or the $68 price tag on Amazon. When I think how long I had to work to earn the money to buy this, it makes me ill. Spare yourself and use the money on something of value.
