I bought this for my 5 yr old girl for xmas! She loved It! I loved the fact that the arms just don't move up and down, they move all around, same with the legs! The dolls hair is full and nice, and it doesn't get tangled too fast! I also bought the outfits made for this doll that is sold seperatly and LOVED it! Everything is made of good material! I first saw these dolls in Target, and thought they were beautiful. However, I didn't want the expense and bother of packaging and taking a box to the post office, so came home to check Amazon, where they offer even a better deal and ship them for you.I wanted a doll for a child's birthday, and decided to order a second one for her little sister. They love the dolls, and their mom said they'd like to collect them all. These dolls come in a range of lovely skin tones and colorful outfits, perfect for today's children who appreciate diversity, and for families who'd like their children to learn about other cultures. Part of the proceeds, but I have no idea how much, goes to charity. You and your child can read about needs in other parts of the world, a learning opportunity and maybe even the beginning of other volunteer opportunities for your family.
I don't think you'll be disappointed. The quality is comparable to that of a more expensive doll. I wish these had been around when my own girls were young.
