As soon as he saw the box, he said "Look Mommy, Caillou! Awesome!" He was so excited that Caillou was in his own house; he just couldn't believe it. And then the fun really started when he found out that you can actually dress Caillou! We removed his outfit including his shoes and socks, had him do a little dance in his under-clothes, and then decided it was time to dress him again. He wasn't able to put on any of the clothing items on his own so I gladly helped him (the shoes were especially difficult, even for me). But we got him all dressed and then my son carried him around the house showing him different things like his room, the bathroom, and the fridge. An adventure, just like Caillou likes!

We gave our Grandson the Caillou doll for his 2nd birthday. He takes it with him every place he goes. I don't think we could have gotten him a better gift. Caillou is his new best friend. Delivery was very fast and delivered in perfect condition.

My 20 month old daughter is in love with 2 things. Caillou and the Wiggles.

This one is perfect size for my daughter to tote around. The smaller one she mainly uses for putting in her toy cars.

The hat and shirt come off, which my daughter did as soon as she got it and continues to do everytime I put them back on.

He has a plush body and harder vinyl hands feet and head.

Two boys aged 2 and 4 came over the other day and REALLY liked playing with the Caillou doll.

Lastly, his head cleans easily from crayon markings. :)

Honest reviews on Caillou 14" Classic Doll

My husband and I ordered this Caillou doll as a Christmas gift for our two-year-old son who talks about the character all the time. He loved the doll so much when he received it and it quickly became one of his "lovies". The clothes seem cheaply made, but that's not the sticking point. Within a month one of Caillou's arms completely came out of the area where it was "secured." i.e., poor stiching not up to par with how a child plays with toys. We never would have bought this had we known that the quality was so poor. There's no episode about Caillou's dislocated arm, but we can write one now.

Santa(Shh..) Gave this to my 2 year old daughter who loves Caillou..

One week of gentle play and his Hand came off exposing synthetic fiber filling inside Called amazon and got refund..

The challenge is how to explain this to the toddler? I told her that Santa(Amazon) took it away and will give two toys next Christmas :)
