My girls both had des Poupees Corolle when we lived in France, so I was excited to buy my granddaughter a 1st baby doll from Corolle. All the Corolle dolls have a wonderful vanilla smell, and this one's beautiful blue eyes open and close. My 18 month old granddaughter adores this doll it's soft enough to have her sleep with her, but sturdy, and the clothes are adorable, and she loves to put them on and take them off over and over!

I bought his for my daughter for her first birthday after reading lots of other reviews. This doll is small but I like the size because its easy for my daughter to carry and hug. She's fascinated by the eyes that open and close. She's by no means attached to this doll but I'm sure the day will come. The doll does have a 'baby' smell but its not at all offensive as a few others have commented. The headband falls off easily so I'm likely to just toss that in a drawer and not worry about it.
