First, and most importantly, this toy does NOT come with a miniature Sofia doll. I'm not sure why I thought it did I honestly don't remember reading whether it came with one or not. But her absence made a huge impact on my opinion of this toy. For the price, she should have been included.

Second, this set is small and flimsy. All of the plastic is thin and flexible and looked like it would break with the slightest pressure. It's durability is questionable at best for the target age group. Some of the tinier pieces would be lost or broken in minutes if unleashed on a three-year-old (which was the age I was catering to with this purchase).

Third, once it arrived I did not feel like the cost ($12 when I purchased) was worth what I received in shipment. It just did not seem like enough toy for my dollar in the grand scheme of things. I wound up returning this item in lieu of something more substantial for the gift I was attempting to give.

My daughter is 3 years old and really enjoys Sofia the First on Disney JR. It along with Doc McStuffins, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, and the Backyardigans are her favorite shows. Disney has always been able to capitalize on a marketing idea and has teamed up with Mattel to create a line of Sofia toys. Unfortunately, a few of the toys have fallen short when combined with the Sofia Magical Castle many of the characters use the wrong voice.

Comes with one teaching fairy

Includes a Sofia backpack, ink canister and quill, and books. Please note that some of these accessories are pretty small so you may want to keep it away from children.

The desk does open up which is nice because you can store all of Sofia's school supplies in the desk.

Sofia can't really sit in her desk my daughter typically has her stand in her chair.

Final Verdict While the Sofia the First Royal Classroom does not come with a Sofia doll, it is a fun accessory for any Sofia fan who happens to have a playset that does have a playset. I will say that if you are looking to buy either the Royal Art Set *or* the Royal Classroom I would recommend the Sofia the First Royal Classroom Playset.

my 3 yr old loves pretend play with princesses and all her sofia dolls. Ms Flora is a great addition to our set. The backpack broke after a few weeks which is why I gave it only 4 stars but some super glue fixed it!

Of course any child who loves Sofia must have this toy. Be aware that the set is very small. Grandaughter loves it. Good addition to her Sofia Royal Castle.

My daughter loved this set to go with her castle. Not the most durable toy, but my four year old loves it. It does not have a Sofia doll with it because the castle and other family sets all have one. Good buy if your little one loves Sofia and has other sets. Price was just right for what you get.
