I am an adult collector. I think this doll is a very good option for the person who can't spend a lot on a more high end version. The hair isn't the best quality, but for displaying purposes, it's fine. She has a pretty face and her dress is really cool.

My 5-year-old daughter loves this doll. She enjoys playing with the hair and the cape and moving the velcro-backed jewels around. No issues with fun as far as she's concerned.What's not fun about this doll? It's exhibit 'A' for what's wrong with toy packaging today. Seemingly dozens of microscopic rubber bands and fish bones awaits the poor sucker tasked with opening this while an anxious little girl awaits. If you are giving this as a gift, do yourself and/or the parents a huge favor by cutting Merida loose from her bonds beforehand. Carefully detach the plastic shell at the edges, and attack her with a pair of small wire cutters. Thoroughly check the entire doll because these tiny fish bones are numerous and easily missed. Package it back up and take pride that your hard work will lead to instant gratification from the recipient.

She actually looks like Merida. I know some dolls resemble the 3D likeness better than others and this one was well done. the clothing and accessories aren't the best, but those lovely curls more than make up for it.
