My sweety Pie wanted a Mermaid Princess cake for her B-day Party. She already had another mermaid dolly, so my husband and I thought we would surprise her by getting her another one she could play with in the water, and this one is really nice. She likes how it glows in the dark and in the water. It's pretty. It's nice as a present, as for the cake...she really looked good in it :)

My 4 year old is a big Ariel fan and was so excited to be able to take Ariel in the bathtub with her. We were able to fit the fin in just fine and it has stayed on, however the light-up feature only worked for 2 baths before it quit. Now it will work for a few seconds occasionally and that is it. The tail section fills up with water but there is a hole so I suppose it is meant to do that. If water is shorting out the light then it is a pretty poorly designed bathtoy. I gave it 3 stars because my daughter loves to take her in the bath and her hair does not get as gross as say a Barbie dolls would in the tub. But a main feature of the doll does not work which is pretty disappointing.

Our daughter loves this toy and has played with it at every bath time for three years. The battery has lasted that entire time. We finally had to replace it when the vinyl tail fin started to split, and our daughter demanded that we get the same toy again, because she loves this toy so much.

My granddaughter had specifically asked for this doll. The problem is the tail will not stay on. It is very poorly constructed. The tail is supposed to screw on but the tail will not stay attached. There seems to be no point to having made it a seperate part as it lights up without it and you could have turned it with the tail permanently attached. What a disappointment.

My daughter got this in her Easter basket after pointing it out for months at the store. Had I known it would only hold up for a few weeks I would have passed. She loved playing with it and then...the tail stopped staying on. It comes on and off (not really sure why) and after awhile it just loosens to the point it won't stay on. I'm debating gluing it on so she can play with it again. Save your money!
