This is a beautiful doll and it was loved immediately. The doll seems to be well made and as a parent, I love that the clothes stay on and cannot get lost among the many tiny doll clothes and accessories already filling our home. The ONLY con was that I ordered this believing that it was a color changing doll when submersed in water. It is not one of those dolls. Beautiful doll all on its own, just not color changing.

My daughter asked her grandfather for a barbie color magic mermaid. He went on amazon & ordered this. When it arrived, I looked skeptically at the box, then came on Amazon to read the description and let her take it in the tub. It did not change colors. As I suspected, it is not a color magic mermaid doll & amazon needs to address this issue as the consumer is being mislead.
