Water Show Ariel is simply stunning.
She has a beautiful face, sporting the vastly improved Mattel Ariel face-mold, that has much less of an issue with wonky eyes like other Ariel dolls such as "Sparkling Princess Ariel" and "Mermaid to Princess Ariel".
She has a really beautiful nautical hair accessory and a really nicely molded top, though unfortunately its not removable. Her tail is amazing, I was really impressed that the pink pearl and shell accessory running down her tail is not molded on but separate! Every scale on her tail is beautifully molded and the tail is not made of hard plastic but a soft shimmery rubber. Her fins are large and and nicely molded as well. Her tail is absolutely gorgeous!
The only negative is the fact that her hair is just very short, I wonder why the odd choice in hair length? Its not very accurate but still an amazing doll.

I had purchased this one instead of the less expensive $10 Ariel mermaid, and since buying my daughter has constantly asked for the cheaper one that her cousin has. She doesn't like how this mermaid won't bend at the waist to have her sit and the water squirting isn't much of an added feature. Save your money and pay $10 at Target for the standard Ariel mermaid, your child will be just as happy!
