The Scaris Ghoulia shown in the prototype picture is stunning. I love that straight little flip hairstyle she has going on. However my Scaris Ghoulia came with a curly ponytail not the flip to die for. She still is a very nice looking Ghoulia but I would have preferred to have straight hair much like the original Ghoulia that came out. It's just my personal preference. Love the Red, Red glasses, the outfits colorful too just wish if they were going to put a hoodie on it that you could actually use it on the doll. She comes with her overnight travel case and rockin blue high heeled boots. She poses well and her make up is spot on for running around Scaris.

My daughter really wanted a Ghoulia to add to her collection. The image for this doll represents a very chic character with stylish hair. The doll I received has the typical "all over the place," curly hair that Ghoulia normally sports. I would not have purchased her if I had known she would look like this. Amazon, please take a picture of the actual product and not the prototype. This doll is misrepresented.

This Ghoulia is really gorgeous. I guess she is bringing her A game for her trip to Scaris. I really like the hair on this doll. It is a nice change from the regular Ghoulia style of "long in the back with a bang roll in front". The face paint on this doll is also gorgeous. I like the dark red lip, and it looks like blue eyemakeup under her glasses. I don't recall ghoulia ever wearing this color shadow before. My only complaint is that yet again Mattel has given us NO STAND with the doll. All my other dolls are on display on a bookshelf. I have been forced to buy doll stands to put these on and it bugs me that they don't match the monster high stands I already have. Oh, and no hairbrush either. Most people already have brushes they can use from other dolls, but still, just be forewarned....

Ghoulia is one of my favorite characters in Monster High. This is easily my favorite doll of hers, esp. in basic slim box releases! Compared to Abbey and Draculaura the other slim boxed girls in this line she's the best dressed, and most fashion forward, from head to toe.

Her simple hoodie-dress is given a little ghoulish style with a spine and ribcage design down the front. Some people have complained about the increased "gore-ish" designs on Ghoulia's recent releases, but I think it's cutely done. Scaris Ghoulia has one of the best hairstyles on any doll I've seen yet. The lack of a stand isn't a huge deal for me, since I'm a collector who leaves the dolls in their boxes.

If you love Ghoulia, she's a must own. But I definitely wouldn't pay more than list price for her, or any of the other basics in the Scaris line. If you can't buy her via Amazon, then search the local stores. They're out there, don't let the scalpers discourage you from getting a deal!

My boyfriend's daughter just loves Monster High, and her favorite set so far are the Travel (Scaris) set. She almost has the complete set, so the basic travel are nice and cheaper to finish her set.
