My daughter really wanted to have a rag doll after reading the Little House on the Prarie books. I was so happy to find an African American rag doll for her. She is 8 years old and loves it! I am going to buy one or two of the other dolls as well. The doll is lovely and the clothes are cute. I also purchased a couple of outfits for her. If I could change anything I would modify the hair so that little girls could create different styles (the ponytails are it) and add more outfits/accesseries for the line. Overall, pleased with the product.

Looks exactly like its Amazon photo. Well-made rag body, lovely yarn hair in braids, pretty dress, stockings and shoes. Bought for my 8 yr. old granddaughter who lives in Kenya, has 3 older brothers. So I love adding to her doll collection. Came well-packaged.
