My 4-yr old daughter got this Barbie for Christmas along with "Computer Engineer" Barbie. We love the whole line of "I Can Be..." Barbies because they're girlie, without being obnoxious divas. The fact that there are so many different Barbie personas now can make for new playtime scenarios (which I think is educational!). We have not had the problem with the pants as another reviewer has commented, however the little parts of course get lost (an issue you have to accept with ANY Barbie) and the poles got bent pretty quickly. It's a regular Barbie, so reliable doll quality. But the pants are very flimsy, very very low on the bottom of the doll and the velcro opens easily right on the back. My 4yo repeatedly asks me why Barbie's bottom shows. How is this outfit appropriate for a doll aimed at toddlers and elementary-aged kids? I do realize it's a Barbie, so I never expected any educational value or anything of the sort, but they could have used 1/4 inch more fabric to make proper pants.
