I am an adult collector so my opinion is from an adult viewpoint. This doll is beautiful, gorgeous ginger colored hair, real eyelashes and an interesting face mold. This doll looks like she is in her late 20's or early 30's, not a teenager, so her clothing looks very inappropriate. She has no underpants and when she sits down, you can see this fact very clearly. They could have painted the embossed "panties", but they didn't.
The articulated body is wonderful. I love the fact that you can change her arm and hand position. And she has the teen age body style which is so much more realistic than the regular body. The knees are articulated and the legs look very nice. The legs also rotate outwards at the hip joint so she can be placed in a "stance" with her hands on her hips....really cute.
The outfit is cute with a short dress and coordinating jacket with icky blue boots with pink laces. I plan to do a little repainting on her face and redress her in a more age appropriate outfit. Nice doll for the price.
