My daughter loves this doll. It's soft and she loves to drag it around when we visit people. It's better for a younger child than a regular Barbie doll. She can't pop the head off of this or anything.Best Deals for Barbie & Me: Doll & Fashion Set
This doll has never been billed as a collector's doll...she is intended for little hands who don't have the dexterity to dress regular Barbies, but want to play with them still. She is also NOT ugly, she has a pretty face and soft long hair that is easy to comb. Her body is soft and poseable, perfect for small hands. My just-turned-3 year old has lots of regular Barbies which she loves and can dress by herself, but she also has this doll and loves it as well. I think that is wonderful that they came out with this doll for various reasons: 1 is that it shows that everyone doesn't have to be a perfect size 0 like alot of other fashion dolls. 2 that it is a soft doll that if they happen to be playing with it rough that they won't get hurt bad. and 3 that the body parts don't come off so easily. We got these for our 2 and 8 year old girls so they had something to play with togethor. The girls both love them. They are kind of strange looking, but easy to dress and fix their hair. My youngest has not put hers down and my oldest has made it its own room. The shoes are kind of hard to keep on, but this is so great for young girls especially.
