Beware of green ear. Daughter took the earrings out and found green ear (same problem as some Barbies from the 60s). Called American Girl and they said to try a paste of baking soda and water. Didn't work. Green ear looks worse. They suggested another idea with some concoction that was tried by Barbie owners on their green ear dolls. It sometimes would remove the green ear but would discolor the vinyl around it. Get rid of one problem and create another. This is not an isolated problem. Wish I had read the reviews on American Girl which stated that other people have had the same problem with Ivy. Can't afford a new head from American Girl at $39 plus shipping to and from them.
