I bought this for my daughter as a birthday present with the intent to use it for her American Girl Doll party. We made a mini doll salon with tiny hair clips and hand mirrors and hair brushes (all from the dollar store). It's a cute little chair and fits the American Girl dolls perfectly!

I bought this styling hair from Amazon for my 6 year old granddaughter who loves to try out different hairstyles and hair decorations in her own hair.

We also bought some doll hair brushes and downloaded infomation from Pleasant Company to give her ideas. She is learning how to braid hair and has lots of fun adding bows and barrettes.

An unexpected bonus is that having been told to begin brushing from the tips, she is getting the tangles out of her own hair in the morning making that before school time more pleasant for everyone.

And unlike many plastic toys, the chair is cute to look at when it is not in play.

My daughter loves this chair. It has a buckle that keeps the doll from sliding so she is able to use all the wonderful fixings that come with the chair. The brush snags her dolls hair but all the other items allow her to play pretend on end. She also uses this chair as a car seat in the car. Usually I discourage her from buying plastic toys...usually end up in the garbage, glad she persisted on this one because she really enjoys it and it seems pretty sturdy. It also has a lever at the bottom of the chair that raises it up and down like the real chairs. My daughter loves it!!!
