I received this doll this morning and right when I showed the box to my daughter she was really happy and excited to play with it! We tried the doll and it works fine and my daughter was really happy feeding her "baby" and changing the diaper whenever she pee and poop... Overall I am really happy purchasing this because my daughter loves it so much... the only thing that i got a little disappointed was I thought real surprises baby dolls mouth moves and chew and frown and this one didnt... But aside from that I am happy with it.. =)

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program I got this for my 4 year old niece and she loves it! She's been wanting a Baby Alive for a long time but we were reluctant to spend the money because it is a continual expense having to buy the food and diapers for it. She was so excited! I love that the doll is larger than most baby dolls and that it's so interactive. Baby Alive talks when you push her tummy and says things like "No More" about the food, "I made a stinky" and sniffs, and says "Where are you Mommy?" I also love that it teaches the child to be responsible in taking care of the baby doll in having to feed it, change it when it pees or poops, and lay it down for a nap just like a real baby (its eyes close when its laid flat). Another great thing about the doll is that it comes with quite a few accessories like a pacifier, bib, bowl, spoon, food packets, bottle, and diapers. At $40 it's a good value.The only thing I see as a down side is that the doll is a little creepy looking and that she's pretty loud and you can't turn her voice down.
But Baby Alive is an awesome, realistic doll that's a big hit in our house! I'd definitely recommend this doll over a traditional baby doll for the interaction benefits.

The doll arrived in a timely fashion and in excellent condition. However; it quit working within a few days. We replaced the batteries and all was well for a bit but it quit again. Now it doesn't even work with new batteries. I have a very disappointed little girl!
