Princess Anise is the Princess of Knick-knacks that comes from the magical land of Lala-oopsies. The Lala-oopsie dolls are a little bit different from their Lalaloopsy cousins. Instead of a hollow hard plastic head, this doll has a head made of firm foam. Her arms are hard plastic, and her elongated legs are flexible. Her head, limbs and crown have full rotation. For play this doll seems quite durable and easy to clean. I suspect she can be wiped down with a wet cloth as needed.
This doll is very cute; she is blue with trademark button eyes. Her hair is mismatched, part blue polka dot and part pink styled to look like two buns make of balls of yarn and accessorized with knitting needles. She is wearing a mostly pink dress, an attached crown and has mismatched pink and black ballet slippers. Her pet is a hard plastic blue kitten. She also comes with a mini poster that tells about her character.
This doll was quite a bit more expensive than other/traditional Lalaloopsy dolls, and I am not sure why that would be, or if the price is justified. I paid $31.97 at a retail store.
Overall, this little patchwork princess is pretty adorable, and I had to add her to my doll collection because of our shared love of knick-knacks. I am sure any child will find her bright colors and whimsical styling irresistible.

My 4 year old is crazy for these characters but this doll smells disgusting! We didn't know what the smell was for weeks bc it follows the doll and literally fills the room. I tried hiding it in the garage but it made the whole room smell like a garlic factory. Is this the only doll or is it the whole set? Into the trash!!
