When I purchased this, I wasn't expecting a professional piece of equipment. Instead, A useful piece with which to help me make doll clothes. It did have to be re-glued to the base, and to the dowel itelf....but,overall, I got what I expected,and would buy another if I needed to.

The dress form is nice enough, I do wish there would have been some measurments. I had to take some stuffing out of my Kirsten and add a little to the form and still need to be sure theres plenty of rooom in the garment.

I got this dress form so my child would leave mine along. She has an interest in sewing and I would love to see her really embrace that so this allows her to create as she wants for her dolls. It's not fancy, the wood is not finished and it does not make noise or dance. That is not the expectation of it's purpose. It does however give my child hours of entertainment, encorporate imagination with ability and teach practical life skills.

Poorly made, unstable, would not buy again nor recommend this item to anyone. There is not enough cotton stuffing. The dress form is unevenly filled making it look warped..
