I think this particular collection is not only a good buy but a very good idea because half of the fun for little girls is changing the costumes, having adventures, and then changing them again.
With this purchase you get 12 outfits and a few pairs of shoes and boots. The case, as pointed out, is not worth all that much. AND the packaging... grrr...don't get me started. This thing could have been blasted out of a cannon to Mars and the little outfits would still be in place; each in their little bubble. Arrggh. Have scissors and a box knife ready.
Five Stars. A good purchase for the Doll who needs clothes for all seasons.

My daughter is 4, which is the low end of the recommended age range. She does not have the dexterity required to put on many of the clothes, especially the shoes. However, I would recommend it as an educational toy, because if she can deal with the frustration, I am sure that this toy will help improve dexterity. Also, this toy has some very small parts that are easily lost, and you are bound to find peices all over the house. As far as durability goes, she has torn several of the shirts while attempting to put them on. Overall, there are plenty of outfits to keep your kid busy, and it is a fun toy.Best Deals for Polly Pocket Year Round Style Playset - Calendar Girl Carrying Case
My daughter got this set for Christmas and she loves all the options. The little bubbles make the case very cute make it easy to keep the outifts separate. It would be nice if all of the outfits were complete though, some have tops and no bottoms, of course you can mix and match, but my daughter was asking where the other part was. Some of the outfits have clear parts and one of the little pairs of boots is clear, which she thought was cool. Overall, it is a cute toy and she has played with it a lot.Honest reviews on Polly Pocket Year Round Style Playset - Calendar Girl Carrying Case
I bought this for my 3 year old girl. She loves to change Polly's outfits, but the outfits will not stay in their little "bubble" pouches as displayed for purchase. I guess they would stay in place if you kept them in the disposable plastic packaging, but try to get a 3 yr old to maintain that order ... its near impossible. All the outfits fall to the bottom of the case when being toted around and then become easily lost when openned. The case is hard to open and close for my daughter as well. We now use a ziplock baggie to keep them all together ... until we find a better Polly-case.
