Review of Madame Alexander Flower Romper Outfit for 12" and 14" Dolls

I purchased a Madame Alexander 12" baby doll for my granddaughter about 2 years ago. The baby needed clothes. I was excited to find Madame Alexander clothes for 12" dolls. This romper is a little large for our baby doll, but is easy to put on and take off and looks adorable. The elastic at the ankles keeps the legs from covering the feet. The velcro-fastened bonnet makes the outfit perfect. A word of caution: the bonnet is fastened to the romper with tight stitches. Stitches are best removed by cutting from the inside of the garment. I bought a second outfit made by Madame Alexander. This one is my favorite of the two.

i like this cute lil outfit much better than any the dolls have come with. my daughter couldn't care less, a different outfit is a different outfit, but i really like it ****a true fit for 12" (smaller) dolls

Our daughter acquired a doll that had lived for some years in the church lost and found. It was naked, but bore the Madame Alexander tag. We washed up the doll, and then had to find clothes. The doll is an unusual size compared to a lot of newer dolls, but this little outfit fit perfectly! The outfit has been very sturdy in the face of two year old doll care as well. My only caution would be that the real life colors are not quite as dark as in the photo. They are not as saturated, but still recognizable. Just don't try to color match based on the photos!

Though cute, I was disappointed by the flimsy, cheap quality of the item. I was unhappy considering the item's cost. In my opinion, it was worth about 10% of what I paid.

Santa brought my Granddaughter her first baby doll last year. I knew she would love a change of clothes for her baby and found this outfit which fit perfectly and so well made. Madame Alexander has still got it after all these years. They have that "pay attention to detail" look which everyone wants and finds it a little bit hard to find these days. She was happy and I was happy with this cute outfit. She's had it almost a year now and it's in good condition. It arrived promptly and in perfect condition; wrapped for protection.
