My daughter loves this toy. The animated movements are really good for an item so cheap. Also the doll is durable having taken a lot of knocks.The hat moves around. The items fit in the mouth snuggly and the dolls stops cooing when the item is put in the mouth. As for the controversy regarding the religious message, non-issue for this family (lol).

Im so glad I decided to buy this doll despite the hype.We are a Jewish family so the last thing we wanted was a doll that praised Allah, but this doll looked and sounded so cute I took a chance for Chanukah.Well my daughter has been playing with her for well over a month at this point and Ive never heard anything but very cute cooing sounds from her.She is also very durable, I accidentaly ran her over with my SUV and she was completely unharmed!Bottom line : Cute Fun Doll, no religion included

I bought 4 of these dolls, 2 in the purple outfit and 2 in the pink outfit. Out of the 4 I have, 2 of them DO say "Islam is the light" and it is very, very clear. Every 3rd phrase... Islam is the light. I bought these dolls for 2 reasons, the first being the price, $6.xx and free shipping. The other reason, I had to "hear" for myself. There is no mistake, the 2 dolls I have do say the phrase VERY clear.

I know there are a lot of critics about the sounds this doll makes but I believe it has been taken care of by this newer "model".

My daughter's doll just gurgles and coos and occasionally says, "mama". She also blows raspberries (which my son says are "farts".)

She is small for a baby doll but perfect for a young child to haul around.

She comes with a cute outfit. The hat is sewn on so I wouldn't recommend taking it off or it will not stay in place.

She comes with a four position switch. One is for trying it out, one is for movement and sound, one is movement only and one is to turn everything off.

She is really cute in her movements and sounds (but after awhile, it does get on my nerves so we switch it to movement only!). My daughter loves playing with her and tending to her needs.

BIG NOTE: the picture shows that she comes with keys and a blanket. THIS IS NOT ACCURATE. She only comes with a pacifier and bottle. This picture must be for an earlier model.

Forget the cynical reviews, this is a good little baby doll at a good price.

I love this toy. My daughter thinks it's adorable. There is nothing wrong with what it says. In fact, I think it teaches tolerance. You can tell your child that her toy is Muslim. what is the big deal?
