The idea of making houses themed after the various Disney Princesses is a darling one. This is rather creative, as it's a steamboat inspired eatery. It has the flavor of the movie and the deep south rolled into one. It makes a cute addition to the others in the set, such as the more traditional Cinderella mini castle and Snow White's quaint little cottage. The Tiana doll included is from before they began marketing the Magi-clip dresses, so you get one of the cloth ones. This means she has to be propped up against a wall to stand and her dress is difficult to remove. Build quality is pretty much the same across the board for the Disney Mattel mini princess dolls... the doors snap on fairly flimsily, so you will be spending some time putting them back on before forsaking them all together. The furniture is just an added bonus to make the package seem more complete, as Tiana can't really use any of it very well and the legs snap off easy too. However, if you already know these drawbacks, as they are issues with every single one of their products, then this isn't such a big deal. My 3 year old daughter loves this! Its cute and fun but the accessories that come with it are very tiny and we have to keep them in a plastic bag to keep from losing them.
