I ordered these for my daughter for her birthday -within a week the arms and legs broke off. They are very cute, but not made well at all. I bought other sets of this same line and they all did the same thing. I would not recommend wasting your money. For the high price you would think they would be more durable.

I feel bad b/c I know this is a family run business (apparently with many friends writing the positive reviews) and the dolls are wholesome and adorable and all that. But we've had these for TWO DAYS and the legs fall off INCESSANTLY and one of them can't even pop back in. The animals and cage are good quality and the doctor's bag (which breaks constantly too) has some cute accessories. The doll's clothes seem like good quality and cute. But even if the doll's legs did stay on, she is so top heavy that it's very very challenging for me (as an adult) to get her to balance properly to allow her to sit or stand without falling over. Maybe I got a dud, but from the other (honest) reviews, it seems like this is a perpetual problem. I would forego this unless you can find it on sale for $5 or so. Edit: I called Paddywhack Lane with my problem and within a few days, I received a replacement without the issues! The owner explained that there had been some faulty batches which they had tried to recall/replace with some of the vendors, but someone wouldn't accept them. I wish I had looked closer at this. It is not a Madeline the little red haired French girl! The quality is fine, but I don't know who the little figure is. It is a cute toy so will make a good Christmas present for my young niece. I thought I was going to receive another item for my Madeline collection. Oh well.
