This toy is a piece of junk! My daughter (4 yrs.old) received it for a present, and it is constantly falling apart. Every 30 minutes, she brings a piece to me for re-assembly. Also, it is too small for the Barbie-sized Mermaidia dolls, so you have to purchase the miniature fairies separately. This is a highly-overpriced piece of plastic.

The only redeeming quality is that my daughter enjoys playing with it, albeit briefly, before it inevitably falls apart.

I only purchased this item due to the 4.99 price. I must admit when I opened the box I wanted to stuff it back in and say forget it, but that could have been due to the other 25 things I had already put together and was just tired.

15 minutes later my 11 year old son had it complete and my daughters 6 & 10 were having a blast. I figured I would have to go out and buy them a couple of the mermaidia dolls to go with but that wasn't true. Any barbie works great.

It came with a table, 2 chairs, one character, mirror, sink, comb, hammock, a flying flower, and a slide. The house itself is about 2 foot tall.

My daughter received one of these from her grandparents for Christmas. I read a review stating that this was junk and so wasn't in a hurry to set it up. I put it together this morning. It went together easily. I had no directions to follow (daughter opened the box and may have lost them). I easily put it together by looking at the pictures on the box. It seems quite sturdy to me. My daughter has been playing with it for quite a while with no repairs needed.

The only negative thing I can say about it is that it doesn't come with any dolls. It clearly states that on the box but my 5 year old can't read very good yet and was only going by what the pictures showed.

My daugher didn't have any mermaid dolls so she was using regular Barbies with this set. Yes, they are a little big but that's where imagination comes into play. My daughter did just that this morning. (My Little Ponies work well too!) I confess, however, I just got back from picking up a couple mermaids for her to play with. She got the one shown hanging on the side of the playset and it really isn't much smaller than a typical Barbie.

I was so impressed with this toy and the $4.99 Amazon price that I just ordered one to put up for when I need a birthday present for one of my daughter's friends.

We just put the pieces together and my daughter has not stopped playing with this underwater castle. Very pretty with lots of imagination incentive. The top room can be turned around to any direction and the water slide is really cool. We are quite happy with our purchase.
