This is probably one of, if not the Cutest Toys Ever. She Sings, Shakes Her Little Bottom & Dances, Plays Interactive Games & Moves Her Head and Mouth. She does a lot of things that will Totally Amuse Little Girls. The controls are on the bottom of her leg, which makes it simple, even for the youngest of girls to use.

Now for the Downside. Do Not let a child take her out of the packaging. Her long mane is securely attached to the backing. A child might pull it & tear most of the mane out. Adult common sense needs to be applied here. They probably do this so that it looks better in the packaging and so that the ponies aren't taken out in the stores. Also, she comes with 4 C batteries. They're just for demonstration & won't last long. Be sure to have some fresh batteries on hand to avoid a huge disappointment. Don't let your little girl drag her into the bathtub with her, as she's not waterproof & it would probably ruin the electronics. The Pony gets a little distracting after a few hours. My advice would be to let the child play with her for awhile and then play in another room, so you don't have to hear it hour after hour. I'm buying more of these for Christmas Presents. Some are going for $ to $ on Ebay & this will be a Hot Hot Toy this year. Many places are already sold out, so get yours now.

I purchased the pony for my 3 year old for her birthday, she wanted to go look at the pony everytime we went to the store and was excited to see it so I decided to buy it for her birthday, I am not sure I would have picked the toy for her myself, I actually think it's quite expensive. She was very excited on her b-day to get the pony and be able to take it out of the box, she played with it the first day or two and then as I assumed didn't really care about it too much. The pony however is very cute, sings and tells you to follow her commands, but like I said to me only worth the money because my little girl was very excited to get him for her b-day and the expression on her face was priceless.

my daughter is four and loves my little pony but as cute as i thought this was it gets less interest from her than the regular my little ponys that do not talk/move! this is not worth it for older kids. younger girls might be more interested in the movements and pay attention but it still is just another toy that sings and does a little movement. dissapointed

My 6 year old daughter is crazy about My Little Pony, and this was the only toy on her "Must Have" list this year. She enjoys it very much, but she has to compete with my 18 month daughter for her. The baby loves pressing the buttons to make the pony sing, and has even started humming tunes from it, even though she is not talking yet. It's also fallen off the highchair quite a few times and still works. The only problem I have with it is it goes through 4 C batteries about every 4 days! I bought rechargeable batteries and a charger, which cost as much as the pony, but they have saved me tons of money as I am constantly recharging them.

I bought this for my giftdaughter's 4th birthday and while she desperately wanted this item for the longest time, she only played with it for about a week before she got bored with it. Once you take the item off the "demo" mode, it still doesn't do much of anything. Even I thought it was pretty boring! Anyhow, I would spend your money on something better for your children. The animation of the mouth of the Pinkie Pie was pretty cool, though.
