I bought this doll for my 4 year old. My 9 year old has one and loves it. My 4 year old can't work the Velcro (long strands), can't get the clothes over the feet or through the armholes. She also broke the dangling earrings the first day. My 4 year old isn't hard on her toys. I think the doll should be rated for 6 years old and older, unless they make it where the clothes don't come off. Also, the doll's hat is stitched on.

These dolls are nice. They don't break, have earrings, inside the soft body there's a plastic crinkly foundation that you can bend all directions. Proportions are a little strange, and the hat doesn't stay on. Clothes are cute. Hair is this interesting yarn that sometimes pieces break off the ends, but the head is so full of hair and it's so long that you don't notice the missing pieces. My girls get these dolls out occasionally, but they don't play with them all the time, like they do with their Lee Middleton dolls. I'd say it's a good one to take on trips and just a fun break from barbies. Also each girl comes with the positive description. This one is an artist.
