I wanted a baby doll for quite some time and was so pleased when I found this one. She is everything I wanted. She is cute, she is cuddly and I love that she weighs 3 lbs. It gives her some substance! My granddaughters tease me about having a baby doll... they also ask to play with her all the time! (Yes, I bought this for myself and, yes, I am an adult. Who wants to cast the first stone?) I, unlike others who reviewed this doll, didn't notice an odor. She is everything I wanted in a baby doll. I now have her dressed in 0-3 months baby clothes (she and her sister are both wearing real baby clothes). Incidentally, the second doll I purchased (not off Amazon and not a Middleton) is no where near as well made. She's cute, but she just isn't the quality (or the weight) of the Middleton. You can't go wrong with this baby!

I ordered this doll for my granddaughter. She had requested a baby doll for her 4th birthday. She opened it and threw it to the floor saying" yuk! this doll smells, I don't want it!" I did not send it back because her older sister said she would like it. The odor has lessened but not disappeared. Will be a Christmas gift for my grand-daughter. Her mommy has quite the collection of Middleton dolls, which are as beautiful today as when she received them over twenty-five years ago. This will be Pippa's first. Such precious dolls that are life-like and sweet. A tradition continues and a lovely one at that!
