I got this umbrella because my 2 and a half year old wanted one for her stuffed kitty. She has gotten tons of play out of this mini umbrella, and it has stood up well to use & is very cute. She has learned to open and close it by herself without pinching her fingers.

The umbrella is a nice bright pink, as desribed, very pretty fabric. The mechanism works well but there isn't a tab to keep it in a closed position. Also the handle is too large in diameter to fit in a doll's hand.
