My daughter was very excieted to recieve this toy as a gift. When we tried to make the doll change colour at the party, we had trouble seeing the difference until my son started yelling: "it's the Boobs mom! the boobs change colour." He was right. The person giving the gift was embarassed. In addition, the tails come off easily and are hard to put back on.

I thought these dolls would be cute for the bathtub. My three year old wanted them. The fins continually fall off from the rest of the body. It is difficult and annoying to put them back on over and over again. She was getting very frustrated with them.

First of all the Amazon price is about double of what you would pay in Target or Walmart, so buyer beware and do some comparison shopping. Now as far as the product goes, there really isn't anything outstanding about it. The mermaid tails easily detach and are hard for a child to put back on. My daughter plays with them in the tub by themselves since she gave up on playing with the Ariel bath boat.

I found these at my local grocery store and was excited because my oldest daughter already had a small Ariel bath toy that was the cause of many fights between she and her two younger sisters. I figured this would add plenty of mermaids to the mix. Like other reviewers have said, the tails pop off too easily. What a pain! These are totally different from the other Ariel we have where her tail actually stays on and bends. What a waste. I'm so sick of reattaching tails at bath time, that I'm tossing these in search of ones like the more durable Ariel we have. Save your money. Better options are out there.

The mermaid tail comes apart so easily and I spend way too much time during their bath time putting the tails back on. Would be nice if it was not removable but coould bend slightly for them to swing on the water boat swing they were advertised on.
