I bought this doll expecting (as the picture shows) one of the normal barbies. Wrong! Her legs are made of hollow, flimsy plastic that don't bend. Her arms are like the older style of dolls...they move up and down, not side to side. Her face is unattractive, to say the least. As most dolls nowadays, her hair looks greasy and stuck together...and when you brush it out it just gets frizzier and poufier. Truly, the accessories are the only redeeming quality she has...the pink top she comes with doesn't fit well, and the dress she comes in looks like lingerie. The necklace she wears isn't removeable. In the picture, her shoes have more design and detail than they really do.I am so disgusted with this set...such a rip-off and so aggravating. I suggest, if you're looking for a good Barbie, go with the poseable "Fashionistas" and skip this one altogether. My doll is most likely going to end up either in the trash when her flimsy little legs pop or in the goodwill box when I get sick of her taking up space.

I'm speaking on behalf of my 9yr old daughter and she loves this Barbie doll. She likes to play with the hair and redesigning the dolls look. Not to mention changing the clothing. Personally I found that the price here on Amazon.com was the best price available over all of the big chain stores.
