I purchased 3 of these dolls for my Grandaughters. The 2 blonde dolls (from another company) arrived in a shipping box which contained the 2 dolls in their original boxes, nicely wrapped inside in pink tissue paper,as discribed.

The doll I received from Digital World NYC, was shoved into a used electronics box, taped and shipped. It IS NOT in the original box with the pink tissue paper as discribed. My feeling is that this was a returned item that no longer had the original box and paper, sold as new.

The product discription is VERY MISLEADING to say the least. I am very dissatisfied.

This little doll is perfect. We had seen the Groovy Girls line in the store, but her brother wanted to give his sister a "princess" doll. Her tiara, shoes, and tights are attached or sewn on to her (not going to be lost later). Her dress is removable, but easily closes with velcro. She even has a belly button! I think that the age it is recommended for is older, but our 18 month old loves the soft dolls and yarn hair (we don't let her sleep with any toys).

I bought this for my 3 year old because she loves princesses. I tried to find it in the stores buy no one carries the princesses. She has had a lot of fun playing with it and has even been able to sleep with it because it is very soft. It's good that the clothes are attached so you don't have to worry about losing them. We are definitely going to buy more groovy girls princesses to go with her collection.

I would not recommend this for little children. The pieces are very very tiny and cute! I am a collector of small and tiny things and this was right up my alley!This has the birthday cake that you can fit the tiny animals into. It also comes with little tiny balls that you can put the animals into . If you are into tiny things, this is for you.I have never seen many things smaller than these are. I thought this was very good priced also.

Good quality, but the bell-bottoms are far more exaggerated in fact than in the photo, and the tank top described as pink is every bit as yellow as it appears to be...an odd choice, actually. We got one of the original Lilydolls for our daughter when she was one. I bought Ursula because I was sick of the plastic blue-eyed blonde dolls and couldn't imagine my daughter cuddling a piece of plastic as she drifted off to sleep. From the moment she saw the doll, my daughter fell in love and latched on. She is now 13 and a typical teen, but she still loves "Ursi". She doesn't change her clothes or play with her, but we often catch her sleeping with her and once in a great while, Ursi will accompany her to breakfast, tucked under an arm, while our teen eats. We have machine washed her and dragged her everywhere with us, (she once got lost in the cabinets at Lowe's for 2 weeks, during which time we were frantic), yet she's still looking pretty good. Granted, I did have to open a tiny seam in the back and add a little stuffing as her neck weakened and her head lolled disturbingly. Still, given the love and attention she's gotten, she's worn well. These dolls were $30 when we bought her 12 years ago.

I think it's a newer line of Lilydoll? I have bought one from ebay but it is made with a lower quality material. If your little girl is picky about her toys, like I have always been, this is the kind of cloth dolls she should be getting.

Best Monster High Dawn of the Dance Frankie Stein Doll Deals

This Frankie stein is very different from the other Frankie dolls she's unusually brightly colored in electric pink and blue with shiny shoes and fuchsia net stockings. She comes with a matching purse and coffin phone.

Her hair is a bit plainer than the others just held back simply. But the bright coloring definitely makes her a stand out compared to the more muted (or black and white) color scheme of the other Frankie collection.

I knew that Dawn of the Dance Frankie had to be the first doll to start my Monster High collection. I'm 25 years old, and these dolls are the dreams of my childhood! I would turn my Barbies into vampires and witches, I learned to sew just so I could make darker fashions for my dolls. When I stumbled on to this line of dolls over a year ago, I was determined to start a collection somedayand here we are!

I fell in love in DotD Frankie because of her colors of choice and the 80's inspiration to her dress. It's a kick back to Jem style that I adore. I love the articulation of these dolls and even though it's bit quirky, I rather like the curve of the torso. I didn't realize the doll's hair was so thick and smooth, either. Overall, Frankie is a gorgeous doll and I'm happy to say she kicks off the obsessions of the little girl inside my heart.

If only the online prices of these dolls were not so inflated right now! I advise anyone to look thoroughly and check store prices for the dolls. A few dolls are reasonable on Amazon, like DotD Frankie, but many others are not!

I have to agree with some of the other reviews on poor product quality. While some of the body parts may be made to come off, my 8 year old was making the doll do a dance kick, when the legs fell off. There is a piece of elastic attached to the inside of each of the hips. The elastic runs through the pelvic area and pulls both legs into the hip socket. This elastic snapped, so the legs came off at the hip, and you can't fix it. I tried popping the hips back into joint with no success. I grew up with two siblings performing more dexterious moves than this with Barbie dolls (splits, back-walkovers, etc) and never encountered this problem. I'm chalking it up to poor engineering. But my daughter loves the doll, so I returned it and will be getting another one. Unfortunately, there will be no more dance moves for this party girl.

I am writing one review for all 4 toys I purchased by Groovy Girls a sofa, chair, bunk beds & the teen doll to make a set to give as a gift to a 10 yr old who is living in a one room with her grandmother. There is not much room for toys but the play furniture and the doll can be set up and played anywhere and her imagination can run wild. According to the grandmother, the young girl has not put them down since she got them and she no longer complains of being bored living in the one room. These toys are sturdy, colorful and pretty "hip" while encouraging imagination through creative play.

Discount Digital Blue Barbie Boombox White/Pink

This purchase is not what I expected and I would return it except my 6 y/o is in love with it. First off, and this is my misunderstanding, but the name of it is "Digital Blue". That is just the name of the company. I was looking for a digital tuner but this only has the dial.

This is a very flimsy radio. My daughter previously had a Hello Kitty boombox and it was solid but after two years, it had a short in it so we were looking to replace it. The CD player lid on this boom box is uneven and thin. I'm just waiting for it to break. When the CD plays, you can hear it spinning over the music. The sound of the speakers is ok since it's for a 6 y/o.

Lastly, and this is purely aesthetic the boom box is white and hot-pink but the cord that comes with it is black. A minor complaint, but it really does look bad since for our placement, the cord has to show.

Updated months later to add After only a couple of weeks, the sound on this became permanently loud, despite trying to turn it down. I do not recommend this radio.

It is super cute, but it is intended for girls ages 7-10. They have to be old enough to take care of their things or the antenna or opener will break. However, it works well when treated properly. The sound isn't great, but good enough for a preteen. My daughter is 6 and absolutely loves it. She has had it since Christmas and the only issue we have had is that the antenna broke off because her little brother got ahold of it. It is definitely worth the $40.

This was received as a Christmas gift. My 4 1/2 year old loves Barbie and wanted a CD player in her own room. We have had it just shy of 2 months and the CD player has stopped working. It has been treated with care. It sits on her bookcase and only has been operated by me. We are extremely disappointed. Her sister has a Disney Princess CD player that has been used for 4 years and still works great dispite receiving some bumps.
