This dress is beautiful. It reminds me of the doll dresses my grandmother made for my dolls when I was a child. Very nicely made dress. Purchased for an Our Generation doll, very nice fit and my 4yr old daughter loves it. The material is of a very nice weight, seems to be well made and something I expect to last the test of time. The veil is tricky to keep on, as it does not fasten with anything, however a bobby pin easily solves it. The veil has some pleats or darts that help it to take shape to the crown of the head, but it slides off pretty easily. This was a simple buy -and it is beautiful. It made her First Communion Day even more special. She carried her American Girl doll, with that dress, everywhere. it was worth the cost (which was expensive in my point of view).
