This doll was for my granddaughter's 4th birthday. When she opened her present she squealed in disbelief. My granddaughter is tall for her age...4 foot at 4 years old, and the doll is 48", so she was really excited to have something so big and so pretty. Of course there was a little area I had to hand sew from the doll being squashed in the shipping carton, but all in all it was an excellent gift for my granddaughter's birthday. It overshadowed all the other gifts, except for the playhouse her mommy got her.

I ordered a green paisley print doll for my two yr old Granddaughter and a purple floral print for my five yr old Granddaughter. She is life size and the girls dance and spin and cuddle whith their doll. I highly encourage anyone with a little girl in their life to purchase this doll. I ordered this doll as a gift for my friends little girl for her 5th birthday (which is today 4-9-12 but, they had the party on 4-7-12). The doll is taller than her which, is one of the reasons I ordered it. I really wanted the brunette with blue eyes to match Alivia but, they were sold out. This one is still really cute. Alivia was very happy with "Ariel" (the name she gave the doll.) I don't know how durable the doll is because it was a gift but, I hope it holds up for awhile with her and her 2 younger sisters.
