I had a Fashionista doll where the head is replaceable but what I liked was all the various "points of articulation" (as they call it). I like to pose my dolls and take pictures and these dolls make that very easy and wonderful. I was expecting the same thing with this Raquelle Doll. I found her quite beautiful. When I removed her clothes I discovered she had a movable ribcage! This is what they mean by "12 points of articulation". Knees, hips (4). Wrists, elbows, shoulders (10). Neck and upper chest (12). It means she can lean a bit left and right with hand on hip in a coquettish attitude.

This is an extra attraction for me as an adult collector but it must be fun fun fun for children! I found her hair to be especially soft and luxurious. It's black with nice fuchsia streaks. She doesn't have any earrings but I sometimes find those annoying if they clash with a new outfit. The outfit she did come with is wonderful. A very unusual collar on the fitted satin blouse. Very sexy 'fake' leather pants and spectacular shoes. The shoes have sparkles embedded in the plastic. They are so well designed that they don't even look like plastic except up close. The bags these days are my least favorite part of the dolls because they are just chunks of plastic but this one is designed like a keyboard with the black and white piano keys so it is at least clever and cute.
