This is a great baby doll for little ones. The whole doll is soft except the face, which is a soft type of plastic. My 9 month old loves chewing on her arms and legs. She also enjoys examining her face.

I wish I would have videotaped my daughter being presented with this adorable 1st doll. She was 3 months at the time, reached out for it and hugged it right away. It's so well made. The box is high-class presentation. We kept it in fact to create a diorama with someday. She likes to teeth on her legs and plastic face. It really does smell of mild-vanilla. I bought this doll for my 10 month-old daughter as her first doll. It is darling, very soft, and as mentioned in other reviews, her face smells good! It is smaller than I had imagined but that's fine. Both my daughter and son (her twin) like to hug and examine it often. My daughter always lights up when I hand it to her. I didn't want to spend quite this much money on a doll but it was recommended by a friend and the reviews were great so I went for it. I can tell it is high quality and will last a long time. It's also machine washable which is great! Happy with this purchase and would recommend.
