This toy arrived 2 days prior to Christmas Day and was damaged. It actually looked like it had been run over by a truck. The left leg was solid black and it looked like tar, the box on the left side was absolutely gone.

I was VERY disappointed. Not sure I will EVER purchase another toy for a special occasion thru Amazon.com.

I bought 4 of these dolls, 2 that you see here and 2 in the pink outfit. Out of the 4 I have, 2 of them DO say "Islam is the light" and it is very, very clear. Every 3rd phrase... Islam is the light. I bought these dolls for 2 reasons, the first being the price, $ and free shipping. The other reason, I had to "hear" for myself. There is no mistake, the 2 dolls I have do say the phrase VERY clear.

On the Fox 43 newsout of York PA, twice this week (October 6, 2008 & October 8, 2008), they ran a story about the "Little Mommy Cuddle & Coo" doll. They reported that the Fisher Price doll says "Islam is the Light." This shocked me! I bought this doll for my daughter back in July for her third birthday. So... Monday night after watching the initial story I ran & grabbed the doll, switched her on, and sure enough in the midst of her gurgling & giggling she said "Islam is the light" clear as day! I could have kicked myself. How could I have had this doll in my home for months and never noticed this! I guess I just never figured a toddler toy could carry a subliminal message. We will definately be more attentive to new toys in the future.

I went to Target this afternoon to return the doll, spoke with the manager, & was told that Fisher Price will not be recalling the dolls & that it was just a fluke that they were only programed to say Mommy. Target was told not to allow customers to return the doll without the box & reciept. So anyway, they are still on the shelves at Target. I tryed each one in the toy dept. & each & everyone of them says "Islam is the light." I plan to email my complaint to Fisher Price. For now though, I shut off the doll & gave it back to my daughter. I told her that the dolly says bad words & is no longer allowed to talk. She seemed content with that!
