I bought this to fit an 18" Madame Alexander Girlz doll.

It was perfect. A big hit with my nine year old niece who loves American Girl and Madame Alexander.

If priced separately this outfit would cost a lot more as it includes the hat shoes,tights and shopping bag.

I just received this 5 piece outfit today,that includes...

1. Short sleeve dress

2. cream colored cardigan sweater

3. Black and white Tights

4. Grey shoes

5. Grey floppy hat.

I bought it for my Daughters, AG dolls, Rebecca & Marie-Grace, to share. It fits the dolls well. The dress has short sleeves. On the front top of the dress, there is black stitching in a wavy diamond pattern. The dress material, is pewter grey colored, woolen material, that I wish had a care & material label, on it. I am not sure, how to wash it. The pleated dress is well constructed and uses small snaps, instead of a velcro closure. The snaps may be hard for younger girls to close.

The lightweight sweater is cream colored, with nice floral embroidery, on the sides. Sleeves on the doll look a tad long, and doll's, fingers, may snag in the ribbon on the inside of sleeve, so please be aware, and show your kids how to dress the doll.

The tights are a black and white stripe, fit okay on top, but sag a little on bottom, but still fit into the shoe.

Okay, the shoes aren't AG quality, but when you are trying to save in comparsion, these will do. It is made of the same fabric as the dress, but the insides shaping the shoes, seem to be made of a thick paper sticky. If they get stepped on or crushed, I don't think they will ever be the same again. The sole is made of very soft rubber, craftlike material. There is flower embroidered on the shoe as well, to tie the outfit together.

The hat is cute and made of the same material as dress and shoes. It fits the doll's head well.

Overall, this is a nice, cute outfit for the money, and I don't regret my purchase.
