I had high hopes for this doll, with all the joints and seeming cuteness but in person, the strong smell of the plastic (think beachball that you can smell a room away) (I waited a full week and then gave up on the smell ever fading) just really took away from my enjoyment of the doll. I also wish she had a shirt on under her dress so she could look more any-season, not just summertime, and her big over-sized white shoes seem dated style-wise (80's?). Her many joints do articulate the doll nicely, but her hair is so seperate from her head...I don't know. The overall effect is not the charming little doll I had hoped for, for my kids, or for my own collection. Glad I saw/smelled her in person. Now I know I don't need to buy the rest of the dolls.
On the other hand, the little Paddywhack Lane carrying case with fold-out bed is as cute and sturdy as I'd hoped. And no stinky smell there. I am going to find a different little doll for that and it'll be a lovely take-along house.
