I love this doll! I bought it for my daughter 2 days ago & she adores her. I am so glad someone has come up with a doll for girls who are not into the pretty-princess thing. I plan to buy all Monster High dolls etc.The doll box clearly states age 6+ for this doll,so don't give her to babies or wild-ones that will pull her apart. Our doll does not come apart easily. We had to pull HARD to detatch her hand. It snapped tightly into place,so don't worry about the dropsies stated in an earlier review. Super posibility makes these dolls super fun for young imaginations. Give Monster High a chance. I don't think you will be disappointed.

These dolls are the cutest dolls ever but I have had 2 dolls fall completely apart within an hour of being out of their box. Now, I understand that the arms are meant to disconnect and we have had no problems with that at all. The problem we have had is that the legs of the dolls are held together with a gold elastic band between the body. This elastic, if not assembled properly, becomes pinched in the plastic of the doll and movement of the dolls legs breaks the elastic piece by piece until the dolls legs fall completely off and there is no fix for this! It does not matter how gentle you are with the doll if the elastic was pinched in the plastic when it was made then the doll WILL break. I have called Mattel twice about this problem and recommend any other mother who has had a problem with these dolls legs breaking off to call them as well. My girls are older and within the recommended age limits for this set of dolls. The issue is a manufacturing error and Mattel needs to redesign. I simply adore my Draculaura doll. I may not be seven years old anymore, but this doll makes me feel confident with who I am and the way I dress. She comes with this adorable little bat umbrella, a pet bat (named Count Fabulous), a skull hair brush, a doll stand (which I NEED), and a journal written from the point of view of the character from the show. I'm not really sure about how stable she is physically (considering I am aware that her legs are held together with nothing but rubber bands), but for older children, I think this doll is the PERFECT gift!Keep in mind I'm sixteen years old. I never really had much fun with Barbies as a kid, and now I see why. Barbie Dolls set a social and physical standard for girls that is just unreasonable. The Monster High dolls teach young girls that it is perfectly fine (if not fabulous!) to express yourself and be who you are. These dolls are different, and people love them for it. Later on, girls will apply this to their lives and learn to accept people for who they really are. THAT is the true purpose of these dolls, and I love them for it.

Oh my goodness! Once i saw the doll I knew I HAD to have her! A couple days later I made a trip to Wall mart and there was one doll left, a perfect Draculaura sitting rite on the shelf! My parents call it lucky, i call it fate! I'm a freshman in high school (I am on my dad's amazon account) and I can't remember that last time I've had this much fun with a doll!!!! Mattel, thank you for an amazing line of dolls and keep rolling out more characters!!! If you as a buyer or a fan DO NOT HESITATE on buying this doll!!! Some people might say that they break easily, but they are actually made to do that. Because their clothing is tailored so fit, the hands and forearms easily pop in and out so dressing and undressing is much easier. Fully possible with amazing details and accessories, this is definitely my new favorite!!!!
