This is a very handsome doll. Jake kindof reminds me of the My Scene Boys, but less flimsy, he actually has some weight to his body when you pick him up. He does come with sunglasses and his clothes are very nice quality. The clothes actually look like someone put some time into sewing them, unlike some of the Fashionistas Ken Doll who wears what looks to be a checkered shirt with a bow tie, but its just a piece of ribbon that has been pulled taught in the middle. Jake does fit in Ken's boots, sandals and tennis shoes...he also can wear My Scene Boys Shoes as well. Jake, despite being described as 13 inches tall only seems to be about a 1/2 inch taller than my Barbie Doll, in fact Jake and Fashionistas Ken seem to be the same height. Ken's clothes do fit Jake although some of them are a bit baggy and loose in the waist area...I tried the wedding suit on Jake and it fit him like a glove, even better than it fit the original Ken doll it came with! I also love Jake's hair, it is soft and doesn't have that plasticicky stuff that all Ken dolls' hair seem to permanently plastered with-be warned though he does seem to have some kind of stiffener in his hair, but only in a couple of small spots.

The one and only complaint I have is that on the front of the box it shows Jake wearing sandals, yet when I got the package open there were no sandals...since he fits in Ken shoes, not a problem for me. In the end I absolutely love this doll and wish that Spinmaster was not discontinuing them! I mean comon' a company finally makes what seems to be a very well made articulated doll that has glass eyes (yeah for new concept!); very reasonably priced I might add, and then they go and discontinue it! Please Spinmaster bring LIV dolls back!

Daughter very happy with "Jake". She has throughly enjoy playing with this doll..had plenty of girl dolls but only one boy doll. She decided she needed another one so they could be "buds". Jake fit the bill perfectly..now her dolls can have a dance partner and double date.

Not a bad size for a boy doll. Was looking for an 18" boy doll, but this goes well with the girl doll. Cannot change the hair like on the girl dolls.

I had no prior experience with Liv dolls before ordering this, and I was very impressed with the quality and articulation of this doll. Now I wish they had a larger variety of Liv males or outfits for him. I have a reproduction of the original Ken doll who is built a little smaller than other modern Kens. His 3-piece suit fits perfectly on Jake, shoes and all.
