I bought this for my almost 2-year old daughter for Christmas. I almost chose Vanilla Brunette instead, but I'm so glad that I got this one instead, as she is perfectly suited for my daughter's age. She seems even prettier than the picture, and her hair is so silky. My mother-in-law bought my daughter an Itty Bitty Baby from American girl, but my daughter prefers this one, probably because of the hair. She also smells better, and I love that her "tush" is beaded so that she can sit up (the Itty Bitty Baby doesn't have this feature). I also like that the two dolls are similar in size, so the Corolle doll can wear the Itty Bitty doll clothes.

My daughter is a bit rough with her hair, but the tangles brush out easily with the provided brush. In fact, she somehow got a wad of gum in her hair at a cousin's home, and with the trick of peanut butter, we were able to get it out. I then used a tiny bit of shampoo on the strands to get any remaining residue, blow-dried it, and the hair looks just as it did brand new. I am really impressed with her hair.

The only negative that I can see is that I wish she came with a dress and shoes (or a diaper like the Itty Bitty babies do), but these are easily purchased.

She is a wonderful first doll and I'm very happy with my purchase.

I got this doll for my daughter's 2nd birthday. I wanted a doll that was beautiful and unique and not one that I had seen everywhere else. This doll is perfect! She is so beautiful, the perfect size for a 2 year old and her hair is gorgeous and soft! There is so much to love about this doll she smells wonderful, she has a soft body and her skin & features look amazing.

I would highly recommend this doll for anyone looking for a special gift for their little girl! You won't be disappointed, the Corolle dolls are wonderful!

This is my daughters first doll with hair....she is very cute, soft hair that does not tangle..and smells so good....i am very very pleased with this doll..but corolle NEVER made a bad doll!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have ordered two dolls of this kind(one from amazon and one elsewhere). Had to return both as one of the eyes didn't work on BOTH dolls. The doll comes with both eyes open, but once one eye closes, it would not open again, unless you manually open it. Paying so much money for the doll and the hassle of returning is just not worth buying it in the first place. Looking for something else.
