These are good shoes for an American Girl doll. They fit well, though the back seam is kind of soft, which makes it squish down when putting shoes on doll. This makes it a bit hard for younger girls to use.

I was looking for Black Mary Janes for my 7 y/o's Madame Alexander doll. I ordered these thinking they would fit the bill. They are more of a vintage Mary Jane with a small heel. The bag says these are "Ruthie's Shoes" These are more "period shoes" than modern mary janes. If you are looking for something modern, then this is not the shoe for you. If you are looking for a historical style shoe, you have found what you were looking for.

My 6 and 2 year old girls love the groovy girls. My 6 year old has played with all of the dolls for years and has not lost interest yet. Lucinda arrived and the girls were so excited. She is well made and colorful. We also ordered Prince Lance so the "puppet shows" have not stopped. The groovy girls are a nice alternative to some of the other doll toy lines that may be a little to "old" for small girls.

My dauther loves these toys and it is difficult to find "boy" doll assortment. When I saw this product image, I was delighted to be ordering a "boy" doll with hair and apparel different than the one my daughter already owns. However, the product that actually arrived ended up having hair and apparel quite different than those shown in the image for the dolls. Not a big deal on the "girl" doll, but disappointing on the "boy" doll as it ended up being almost identical to the one she already owned.

The triplets seem decent just three little plastic figures. And the bears are cute, a softer plastic with a slit in the back. The boys are supposed to be able to fit into the back of the bears. It is easier said than done, after too much time I finally got one to fit but not the others, my 4 year old hasn't done it yet, but she does stuff other things into the bears. If used as 6 different figures instead of 3 combined, it's fine.

While the little boys are cute and can be played with easily, as I read in other reviews, the bear 'casings' aren't really made for the boys to fit in well. Still, they are nice for the kids to play with as individuals. And for the $5.99 price (over nearly triple that at most box stores) they are a good 'cheaper' gift!

Whoever designed these toys did an incredibly horrible job. The designer should have taken into account that you're going to have little hands trying to manipulate the toy into a plastic bear, so why make the doll's necks so dang flimsy? My five year old has no issues playing with small toys, but this one got her so frustrated, that she ended up flinging them to the side. When I tried getting the dolls into their bear costumes, I ended up screeching like a banshee! Not the best toy for little kids, especially when you're worried about breaking the dolls' necks.

Upon first receiving this doll, my 3-year-old, seemed to be very excited. She had been asking for a Barbie, so her grandmother bought her one for Christmas. This was her first Barbie ever! Unfortunately, she had it less than a week and the legs fell off. She was definitely not rough with it. I had several Barbie's growing up and none of them ever lost any appendages. It is disappointing that this toy was such poor quailty.

My daughter asked for a ragdoll for Christmas so I ordered two of these(one for her and her sister). They are pretty dolls and seemed to be well made. The other plus is that they are 18" and many of her American Girl doll clothes fit. They have enjoyed playing with them. The only negative is that the brunette had blue eyes, a brown-eyed option would be nice.

My 6 year old daughter LOVES this castle! Most of the furniture is removable and the pink 'Queen' seat in the top, right, middle tower swivels. Also, you can store the Squinkie balls in the left tower (the top comes off). Once filled, you can 'pop' them out by quickly pressing the white lever--that my daughter's favorite part. They go flying everywhere! The other tower also opens up to an elevator, but be careful because one of her Squinkies got stuck in there. All in all, it's a great product! Easy to travel with, too.

My daughter has been stalking this toy for over a year. We got it at Marshall's for $13.00; at Target, it is $20.00. You know what to do!

The theme: Scootin' Around Town Lookin' for a Dog Spa

The shoutouts:

-Clothes are easy to get on and off.

-Boots are easy to get on, do not fall off easily.

-Scooter runs smoothly and is tough all around.

-Helmet is sewed onto doll's head, but can be removed with a couple snips. If removed, it can be put back on...fits very snugly.

-Doll and dog fit/stay on scooter snugly.

-All accessories fit on doll and dog snugly.

-Scooter has a small, removable basket.

The disses:

-Included corgi has the "new" LPS look; wider head might enable ease of placement of dog on scooter for little ones.

-Dog's glasses are hard for kids to get on.

-Doll is hard for kids to get on scooter (even my 8.5-year-old was frustrated).

-Included paper shopping bag is very delicate and will have to reinforced with tape.

Forget the spa...I say they go on a road trip, like Steinbeck and Charley.

It's that time of year again when moms like me are searching for perfect little stocking stuffers for their little ones. My first grader and some of her friends are great fans of the Littlest Pet Shop range of toys, and among their favorites are the Blythe dolls. For some reason, the dolls are all called Blythe, but it doesn't matter, we go ahead and rename them anyway:)

This series is called the Pet Sitters series and the difference is that the Blythe dolls come with a pet. The adorable doll, complete with a little helmet comes with her own little pet, a larger comb to brush her hair, a super cool scooter with siderider seat, and tons of tiny accessories (which let's face it, will inevitably get lost/misplaced). But this set is worth it for the doll, pet, and vehicle. The helmet is removable (actually is is sewed on but can be snipped off) which is great as my daughter likes to swap accessories on her dolls, and the shoes are easy to take off yet don't fall off easily (unlike some other brand dolls). Her clothes are removable too.

Now the downside to these dolls is that they are not able to stand on their own. Our favorite feature is the large, manga eyes (like those featured in Japanese animation) and the lashes are glued on and feel really soft. Recommended for children ages 5 and up, and collectors of course!
