I purchased this extra mannequin for my granddaughter to add to her original Harumika set. The original set only had a dress form (no limbs or head) and I thought she would enjoy seeing her creations on a full doll model. She and her friends spend many hours creating fashions. They photograph their creations and make catalogs of them.
A very creative toy that uses a youngster's imagination rather than batteries!

Review of Little Mommy Sweet As Me Pink Princess Doll
I looked a long time to find a basic baby doll that my daughters could play with one that was cute, didn't pee on the potty, talk back, giggle, cry, require batteries, etc. This is harder than it sounds in this day and age. We wanted a doll that would allow the girls to use their own imagination instead of being fed an automated voice. This particular Little Mommy doll is the best one I found (there are MANY variations). I got one for my toddler for the holidays, and my preschooler plays with it so much, I bought one for her too. They are not into princesses (my preschooler is mostly into dinosaurs), so I made them some new attire, but they are wonderful. It's impossible to see this online, but the body is soft (easier for toddlers to carry around and huggable) and flexible and the head, arms and legs are hard plastic. The girls love them. My only complaint would be the scent the baby doll has when first opened you definitely smell the plastic, but there is an overriding scent of baby powder that has lingered over the months we've had it. I could do without the scent, but the girls don't seem to mind.

This doll is made very well and is very durable. If your toddler is into princess everything I would definitely recommend this one. I have this doll for my granddaughters to play with when they visit. I also have the Little Mommy "Holiday" and "Night, Night" dolls which they prefer over this one. I purchased this doll back in 2009 from a store here in Cincinnati for my little girl's first easter. She named her Baby Allie, and has carried her around since. A week ago, someone at my daughter's school stole her original baby Allie, and I needed a replacement QUICK! I placed my order on a Friday night, and received the doll the very next Tuesday! We got this for my 4 year old daughter on our last trip to Seaworld and it's been a huge hit! I love the accessories it comes with as we can talk about being a dolphin/orca/seal trainer. It's been surprisingly sturdy :) The only downside I would say to this is the fish that come as food for the animals, they are TINY. I mean, baby fingernail tiny. If this is for your youngest or only childyou're good, but if you have other, smaller kids, watch out. I had to take ours away, they're just too small. And grayso good luck finding them in the carpet!

This is a horrible toy. As a young woman who once adored Barbie as a child and practically had everyone, I'm disgusted that Mattel has this available for children. When I'm blessed with a little princess of my own, I absolutely will not be buying this toy. This toy has no fun and or educational value. It shows kids that it's okay to trap wildlife and use them as entertainment. They have a right to live just like all of us! You wouldn't want to be stripped of your freedom and life would you? If your children love dolphins, seals, Orcas or any marine mammal, look to teach them what every marine scientist knows; circus shows exploiting these majestic animals are a travesty, and have NO educational value. Most of what your children "learn" at these sea circuses is misleading. Shame on you if you encourage this. To quote the late Jacques Cousteau: "There's about as much educational benefit studying dolphins in captivity as there would be studying mankind by only observing prisoners held in solitary."

Corolle Mon Premier Tidoo 12" Baby Doll (Tidoo Suce Pouce In PJs) Reviews
This doll is fantastic for little girls who love to play in water! We bought this doll at Martha's Vineyard last year and my daughter brought her into the ocean and the bath. The doll floats and dries fairly quickly. Great in the pool, too.
On the positive side, my daughter still loved the doll, and it had a very cute face and could suck its thumb or bottle, unlike the Calin which has front teeth. Also, the pajamas that the Tidoo came in were of a better quality than the pajamas that the Calin came in. I still decided to return it and buy another Calin instead because I think the quality is much better and the doll will last longer. The Tidoo is probably ok if it is just used for bath play, but as an everyday doll that is dragged around by a toddler it won't work.

This precious, little doll was purchased for my year-old granddaughter and she has not put it down. It is her favorite toy. We are huge fans of Corolle dolls. My daughter has the Calin, Bebe Charmeur, Baby Lila, and Baby Chouquette and I would rate all of these dolls 5 out of 5 stars. We have loved Corolle dolls so much, we have even bought them for my 2 nieces who also adore them. Even though Corolle dolls are expensive, they have all been well worth the price because they are outstanding quality and have been loved above all other baby dolls by the little girls in our family aged 18 months to 5 years). So I honestly hate to say, do not buy the Tidoo doll by Corolle. We bought this doll for my daughter when she was 2 because she loved her Calin doll so much and always wanted to take her in the bath. At first we were happy with Tidoo (even though her body was made out of icky plasticy material in order to make her water proof), but then the transformation happened. After about 3 months, the white part of Tidoo's eyes rusted, making her look demonic. My daughter was actually scared of her and refused to play with her. Since I had long since threw away the packaging material, I couldn't send her back to Amazon. But I was distraught because this doll was over $50 so I contacted Corolle who replaced the doll for free (well, I did pay to ship the original doll back to Corolle). Sadly, the exact same thing happened to the replacement Tidoo...after about 3 months, her eyes also rusted. At that point I contacted Corolle and asked to exchange the Tidoo doll for a Calin doll (which I ended up giving to a friend having a baby girl as her baby shower gift). Kudos to Corolle, as a company, for granting me this exchange, but they need to go back to the drawing board with this particular doll. Perhaps they should make a bath doll with eyes that do not open and close since this seems to be the issue as water gets trapped in the doll's eyes, causing them to rust. If you want a bath doll, buy the bath doll by Little Mommy (also available on Amazon)which is under $20, is super cute and while she has a hard plastic body, is perfect for play in the bath tub or swimming pool. I don't normally write reviews for items, but I thought I needed to for this doll. Last Christmas I bought my daughter the Calin doll by Corolle, which she loved. I would give the Calin 5 stars. Unfortunately it was lost while were out shopping, and so I ordered the Tidoo as a replacement, thinking that we'd get the added bonus of being able to play with it in the tub. When I received the doll I was very disappointed. The quality is much lower than the Calin, although they are close to the same price. The plastic that the head, arms, and legs is made from is almost squishy, and if you take it in bright light (like a bathroom or outside) it glows because you can see the light through the head. Also, the body is filled with little styrofoam beads instead of the beans used in the Calin. I can't imagine that the styrofoam would hold up and it also is not heavy enough to allow the doll to sit. The doll's head is heavier than the body, so it falls over. These were the outfits that we ordered to go with our daughter's first Barbie and they were a good choice. When she finally showed an interest in Barbie we choose clothes that fit her own lifestyle as well (she is a gymnast/soccer player/adrenaline junkie 7yo) and they were a hit! Unlike the dolls who have fallen in quality, these clothes were just as durable as my own Barbie fashions from the 70's and 80's. No complaints, they are what they are. Girls love barbies and dressing em up and this suits my daughter just fine. She actually really loves to make Barbie launch that little ball across the room. My only question to the Barbie makers is, why all the little accessories? All they do is pose a choking hazard, my barbie doesn't need a fake water bottle to look sporty.
